Summer CAMP - 1 week 3.5 hours a day This year will be the first Harry Potter inspired camp!! Each wizard will get sorted into their house the first day, they will be given house socks and we will make a crest for them to wear each day of the camp. The new students will learn how to make patronous bath bombs with Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher Shannon from Barmaid Soap Company, they will be painting a Coldren mug in Potions class with Decoy Art Center and will complete the week camp with Arts and Crafts with Jesy of Needle, Ink and Thread, making a Deathly Hallows applique pillow and embroider "I solemnly swear I am up to no good". There will also be some filler time where we will create small projects in the studio! During the classes, we will have "POP Quizzes" with Harry Potter movie/book trivia! This will earn points for the house cup, and at the end of the week, the house with the most points will receive a free registration to Kids Night In or a Private Lesson! The students will also take home a few inspired goodies such as house socks, broomstick pen, chocolate frog and jelly slugs! I am so excited to be working with Barmaid and Decoy to round out the fun inspired classes! Spots are super limited and expected to fill quickly. Prerequisites: None What you will learn: Sewing Basics Applique Hand Embroidery Pillow Making Working with Felt Pottery Painting How to make bath bombs Ages: 10 - 16 Max Students: 8 (2 kids per house, we will do the sorting hat in the first class) Harry Potter Camp - Please feel free to have your kids dress up if they would like and bring wands if they have them! Bring: Snack daily - please bring (no nuts) Sewing Machine - if you want to use yours Small Sewing Kit (Scissors, pins, etc) Supplies provided by the instructor: All supplies for projects are provided and included in the registration fee
