What a whirlwind! The ribbon-cutting is over, the studio has started to look like a substantial space, and I am getting to start some custom work that I had to put on hold for the move! I am so excited for the next chapter of the studio; I hope to be in this space for a while; we spent some money here, but we love the space; it feels like home.
Studio Space Updates
A lot has changed in almost two months in the new building; I am excited to announce that I will be getting Art Gallery Fabric into the studio this week; I will still only be open on Tuesdays from 11-6. I might have to go to alterations by appt as it has started to pick up a lot, which I am excited about, but the turnaround times are suffering a little, so I want to accept what I can meet the deadline for. I have had the most amazing customers who have been understanding. I am excited for the system to upgrade to schedule with me online and set your appt, there is a “card on file” for the missed appt, but I will say I have never had to charge someone!
The Space
The classroom is starting to shape up; I am saving up to have some custom desks for each student’s machines and sewing space.
I am so elated by the class possibilities, getting to get a breather to add some new classes to the calendar, I am very excited to offer!
Sorry for the short and sweet post. I wanted to update a little for everyone following, and I will resume my Girl Charlee blogs in the following weeks! I am excited for you to make a cactus pillow from vegan leather!
