My Thoughts on the Filigree Double-Zip Pouch
This pattern was fast sewed, easy and fun! Such a fun upgrade to a first zipper bag! I will be making more of these for gifts this year.
I would highly recommend this to my students and friends starting to sew. The instructions are spot on and easy to follow. Sara does a great job of breaking down the steps to make them manageable and for you to hold your confidence will the construction of this pouch.
The Double-zip is a great addition to keep items separated; I could efficiently use this for art supplies, makeup, sewing supplies, embroidery, sleepover, and traveling!
Sara also has a Facebook group ( where you can ask questions, get answers, and have fun ideas for your projects! Sara worked so hard on this one, and it is a super fun make if you give yourself some time to put in those zips!
Final Notes
This bag is the perfect challenge if you are comfortable making the standard zip pouch. It’s a significant change from the same old, same old!
