Thinking about how much Daytoians love her, I thought it might be nice to show her how much Dayton, Ohio loves her!

About Ruth Ginsburg

Ruth Bader Ginsburg is an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. Ginsburg appointed by President Bill Clinton and took the oath of office on August 10, 1993. Justice Ginsburg is the second female justice of four to be confirmed to the court.

A rock, a fighter, and pro-equality! What the world needs is women; people of different colors, sexual preferences, backgrounds, cultures need to be heard! We need equal representation and laws for all. She aligns very much so with my moral compass and integrity. Wanting everyone to be equal, she knows that we can do it and have dedicated her life and work to see her dream of compassion and equality.

Letters

So, We will be meeting at Needle, Ink, and Thread at 5:15 (please do not arrive earlier as I have a private lesson that ends at 5 PM) to write cards, letters, draw pictures, and send the cards to her. So, let’s show her love, let’s let her know that we are all thinking about her and want to give her a “hug,” if you will, with our mail.

Supplies and What to Bring

Needle, Ink, and Thread will have paper, stamps, crayons, pencils, markers, and such at the studio; feel free to bring your supplies to share or work on your own letter/card/picture! Also, if you have something that you want to share to eat, please feel free to bring it!

Don’t worry about mailing out the letters and the cost; I will mail all of the letters out to her office after the event; maybe we can grab a group photo too to send her!
