Crafty Night for Kids!

Once a month, I open the studio for a night of creativity for the kids! Parents go and enjoy a three-hour night off! Maybe get some self-care time, a date night, get things checked off the list, or give the kiddos something fun to do for the Night.

Kids Night In is three hours of arts/crafts and sewing! Also, the kids will have dinner from the Beavercreek Pizza Dive (cheese pizza), pretzel bites, and water!
Then we do a craft that will take around two and a half hours. The projects have been chosen before the event and are visible in the class listing.

Do I need to stay with the Kids?

Nope, I urge parents to head out for a night all to themselves! I have found it’s usually hard for kids to focus on sewing or being creative when their parents are present. Sometimes I will have an assistant in the studio (depending on the project).

What if I want to stay? I encourage you to check out my building mate, Decoy Art Center! They have all kinds of things that can keep you busy while your child is getting creative! If you want to hang out and help your child with Kids Night In, you will need to buy one of the spots.

What If I sign my child up, and we can’t make it!

Make sure to check out my class policies before registering since I keep my classes small; if something happens and I can fill your child’s spot, I will credit you the class fee towards another course.
However, I need at least 72 hours’ notice to try to fill your spot. I am a small business with no capital backing. Every sign-up and space is essential to keep the business running and successful. I will always try my hardest to fill the spot that needs to cancel or reschedule.

Anything else I need to know?

If you have multiple kids in your family and want to send two or more, please get in touch with me as I offer a multi-child discount.

Kids Night In is geared toward beginner sewists. However, any level of sewist is allowed to come and enjoy the fun while learning to use the machine, hand stitch, or learn a new technique for any group!

Also, please drop off no more than 5 minutes early, and please be prompt for pickup, 8:30 PM. Besides that, have a great night out with the Guys, Girls at home or wherever!
